    3200A Loadbank Connection Point

    2000A three-phase, neutral and earth Load Bank Connection designed to restore power to critical applications. The 3200A Generator Connection Point can be fitted inside or outside of a building, allowing a safe and quick connection of load bank to your generator  when required.

    Equipment housed within a steel enclosure. Powerlock (Drain) connections to 100x10mm copper bars with 300mm spreading distance for bottom entry outgoing cables. 3mm aluminium top and bottom gland plates are provided for the customer

    Enclosure

    Dark Grey (RAL7021) textured powder coated stainless steel construction (1.4003 grade). Other colour options maybe available by request. Powerlocks mounted on a 45 degree angle aluminum plate. 3mm aluminum top and bottom gland plates are provided. Assembled to IP54.

    Operation

    We recommend the generator should be connected / disconnected when off load and not running. No voltage should be present at the powerlocks. We would also recommend following the convention of connecting in the following order: Earth – Neutral – L1 – L2 – L3. Then disconnecting in the reverse order.

    All temporary power distribution equipment is manufactured by IDE in the UK and tested to BS 7671 (12 Months Certification). The products used within our distribution systems conform to EN 60309, EN 60529, EN 60947 and have a 12 month warranty.

    16A single phase cable is designed to connect the temporary power network from the generator directly to the end user.

    The 16A single phase (400V) extension lead is fitted with a 16A 5 pin IP44 Mennekes plug and coupler at each end.

    The cable used is 2.5mm 5core H07RN-F Double insulated, Ethylene Propylene Rubber, flexible cable designed to withstand; the weather, oils/greases, mechanical and thermal stresses. Conforms to BS EN 7919.

    All  cable is available to purchase or hire and can be made up in lengths ranging from 1-100M.

    630A three-phase, neutral and earth Generator Hookup Point designed to restore power to critical applications. The Generator Hookup Point can be fitted inside or outside of a building, allowing a safe and quick connection of a back-up generator to your facility’s electrical system when required. The equipment is  housed within a wall mounted steel enclosure. Powerlock (Drain) connections to copper bars allow for top entry outgoing cables. 3mm aluminium top and bottom gland plates are provided for the customer. Powerlock (Source) cables can be supplied by IDE at an additional cost. Once connections have been made, the powerlocks can then be locked off to avoid further interference.

    High vis orange (RAL7021) textured powder coated stainless steel construction (1.4003 grade). Other colour options maybe available by request. Powerlocks mounted on a 45 degree angle aluminum plate. 3mm aluminium top and bottom gland plates are provided. Assembled to IP54. Other enclosures – such as mild steel can be supplied upon request.

    Generator Connection Point

    The Generator Connection Point (GCP) is designed to restore power to critical applications such as hospitals, schools, airports, banks and other commercial facilities. They can be fitted inside or outside of a building, allowing a safe and quick connection of a-back up generator to your facility’s electrical system when required. The solutions can also be used to connect to your load bank when your back-up generator is undergoing testing/maintenance.

    630A three-phase, neutral and earth Generator Connection Point designed to connect to a temporary generator (generator supplied by others). Equipment housed within a wall mounted steel enclosure. Powerlock (Drain) connections to copper bars allow for top entry outgoing cables. 3mm aluminium top and bottom gland plates are provided for the customer. Power lock (source) cables can be supplied at an extra cost to make connection to the Generator Connection Point.
